OK guys here i go....

i use my work laptop everyday, all day...

I do not have admin rights so therefore cannot install anything...

Somehow i got bf2cc and mirc on here but cannot install msn.

I use msn Web messenger - which is totally crap.

All of a sudden yesterday, an msn windows messenger icon appeared (yes - appeared) in the bottom right toolbar thingy....

It was windows messenger  and i made groups and had a wick time using a normal messenger 

however after a reboot it has now disappeared.

I really want it back 

If i go to C: Program files Messenger - the only application i get is msmmsgin which is not an exe and its icon is a blue and white box. if i double click it nothing happens.

Im really pissed now and really want to get msn on here.....

ANy ideas?

Have you looked in " Run - msconfig " see if the service is supposed to start as you boot there.

Sometimes, a windows messenger icon is located in the top right of internet explorer window. you could look there too.

You can also search for "messenger".

No pop-up box came up saying you added me, but the request thing did and i accepted it but dont see you on the list. PM me your email and ill try adding you

Try oppening Outlook express, Messenger opens with this program also.
