i am thinking of building my own computer, it would be mostly used for gaming and my coursework. i am just trying to find what specs would be the best. i play games such as far cry, doom3, bf2, and soon bf2142. And there is always the games that will appear in the future.

could you give me an idea of the specs that i would need, and about what prices they would be.

What you build for reasonably top of the line specs will probably be around $1000-1500, unless you need a monitor/case/mouse/keyboard.

go to www.gladiatorcomputers.com thats where im getting my pc from, you can buy parts and build it yourself but im just buying the trident am2 5000 which is agreat price even if you were building it yourself
