well.. i been with aol for more than a year and i think they are great( YES i don't use any of their software).. anyway, since friday my connection is not working I rang them and they said BT have ceased ur line, and they don't know the reason.... have anyone experience this before.

Anyways, I suggest leaving the hellhole that is AOL immediately. It's what, 20 bucks a month? Skip 2 trips to Starbucks and get a halfway decent DSL or Cable line for 30 bucks.

its not AOL the problem, i aint having a problem with them.. Its BT who have ceased my line! but i dunno the damn reason

I really don't have any idea what that means, but your provider shoul've been able to explain to you what the hell is going on. Other than that; dial-up is history and like Hurricane said, try getting DSL or cable if available in your area. Too bad I'm using dial-up here @ work because they don't offer it in this area. :cries:

If you're in Britan, I suggest getting NTL, I've got a 1mb line w/ unlimited downloads for like £20 a month.

I think they're available almost anywhere in mainland UK.
