A quick question for the techies.

Im having a problem with a defective card and teh company wants to exchange it for another type.
my current card is a powercolor X700 and they want to exchange it for a Radeon 9800 se. Apparently my M\B has issues with the x-series card. I plan on upgrading soon but what I want to know is this a fair exchange? The guy told me the 9800 is actually faster than the X-700, but I would like your opinions please. Thanks in advance.

I only need it to last a couple months til I get a new computer, but I plan on giving it to my wife for her comp when I upgrade so...

Its free but I just dont want to get ripped off what I paid for the other card.

sounds like a good deal they are really upgrading you to a better faster card. you just need to make sure your rig can suppory it. mostly on the power supply side of things.
