I might get me one of those Ruger's if I can get it for under $700 out-the-door. They're 100% USA made with much of it being here in the Great State of Arizona. They look fairly simple and clean. I don't care for the ambi-safeties or bullshit advertisements/warnings all over the place. I'd like to see one in all stainless though, I don't care for the black/blued accents.

All my other fire arms are all .22, and all I do is put holes in paper, so this works real nice for me.

And yes, California says if I have more than 10 rounds I'm going to go off and start a killing spree.

I think it's all about how it looks military

black infers military, you don't seen chrome guns in the military because of it ruining camouflage, etc.

pistol grip infers military

RIS systems, etc infer military

large "banana" style magazines infer military

exposed gas cylinders infer military

and so on.
