you should get a lever rifle in .357/.38. that would be more "cowboys and indians" than a 30-30. cheaper too. Winchester, Marlin, or any of the CAS makers can outfit you.

Going home in 17 days. Finally get to shoot my SCAR 17.
NightForce NXS 3.5-15 in Badger Ord. Rings
Geissele Super SCAR two stage trigger.
PWS SRX rail extender
Harris Bipod in LaRue mount
Surefire muzzle brake
Might borrow a PEQ-15 while I'm home.

This one has the same set up as mine except the scope rings, muzzle brake, and pistol grip.
I wish I could get a MK20 stock instead of the standard folding one.

I was thinking the same thing after I saw that
The .308 version is currently on my list of "to buys". Excellent gun.
Question:
I have been considering buying a LaserMax guide rod laser for my Beretta 92FS. Upon researching however, I discovered that the laser is not a steady stream of light but rather a "pulsating" or flashing light. Has anyone encountered these before? Are they as good, better or worse than a traditional laser? I like the idea of an accessory that doesn't change the outline or weight of the gun.
Link for those who don't know what I'm talking about.

I always read the instructions first, thus avoiding this kind of problem.Extra Medium wrote:

But seriously, how hard can BB guns and single shot break action 410 shotguns be to clean. That is all you Aussies are allowed to have right?
