Anyone else want to see this? Instead of spending 1000 hours getting everything, they could be right there on a plate. People like me, who would rather have fun than have to "insertthinghere"-whore  to get at the fun stuff.

Why would EA/DICE do this, you ask? Well, you've already bought the game. They've got their money. What do they care if you play it for 1000 hours or 10?

Why do you ask such questions? I think you knew from the very first moment what you had bought. Don't like it? return it.. can't return it? Learn from you own mistakes.

Because they make money on ranked servers? Plus, if the game is still popular there will be new people buying the game. The price of BF2 is still pretty high considering how long it has been out. This is a good indicator of how good/popular the game is.

For instance HL2 (which I consider a good game) still costs around $40. But DOOM3 (which was a dog, IMHO) sells for around $20 these days. Both those games came out at around the same time and sold for the same initial price.
