Combat sniper but i dont rush along with my team i stay behind them and hunt down enemy n00bs.
on my old career i was a combat sniper because i love the headshots, i played sniper for hours on end, but on my new career i have only just started playing sniper again why you ask?

I wish we could have a measuring thingy when we snipe from far distances.. which is how I snipe. I am the patient type who snipes from very far away, fire a shot, hide, re-aim, hide, aim, shoot, and start again. After 4-5 kills, I change spot.
And I don't use the obvious cranes and such.. they will be looking for you up there.
Favorite map to snipe.. Kubra Dam where I have 2 or 3 really good non-obvious places to go, and somewhat hard to get to.

Combat sniper usually. I like to spot for my squad and team and weaken/kill the enemy before they get close enough to my squad to hurt them. Once I've taken the flag with my squad I'll leave a little present for enemy.
I've also been enjoying a commander sniping. Finding a good viewpoint with at least 2 flags in view so I can snipe the would-be flag stealers while waiting for some commander assets to refresh. Although there's a lot more time to do that on IO servers.

Im a Patient/Combat/Claymore sniper. Im patient for the most part, i like to sit in one spot and take heads off but not for very long then i rush in and join the fight. I like the bolt action rifles like L96 and M95 but the SVD and other semi-autos are good too. Plus i get alot of use out of clays. And i don't command very much, if i do it's usually as Engy to repair assets.

I play in slightly different ways depending on whether it's vanilla or SF, which allows you to stick to rooftops a lot so you can be right in the thick of things but not as vulnerable.
