well when i go and buy this game in a few hours im deleteing that update if 2142 doesnt work

straight from microsoft's website about the update: Microsoft released the following bulletin and security update for Internet Explorer on August 24, 2006. This release addresses a vulnerability in Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1).

so presumably if you dont use IE (Firefox FTW) this is just some bullshit update that has no effect on on pretty much anything... and i dont trust EA or Microsoft so screw both of them
