I searched and I think this wasn't posted before, if it was sorry.
A friend of mine sent me this link to youtube, and it's quite impressive.
Researchers of Carnegie Mellon University has managed to teach a computer to recognize and transform 2D images into 3D.

Truly amazing. I've read it should be impossible to convert 2D (film/pics) to 3D in teory, but someone has done some smart computing. Thx for sharing.

But still, how the fuck can they do that? It's done with a picture. The computer transforms it into 3D automatically. I couldn't believe it.
