this is a weird question but does anyone know how big the sniper rifle bullets realy are in the game programming NOT in real life. it might just be me but sometimes it seems that the shot was too easy. i hit some people at full sprint runing across my view. other times i get hits when i am not sure i had my crosshairs on my target. it feel almost as if my bullet are like 6 inches (15cm) in diameter.

nobody should really know the answer to this unless you area a dice programmer or a insane hacker. i just thought i would ask

The M95 has a .50 Calabier round in it.  not sure of the size in cm google it.
i think the M24 has a 7.56mm round in it.

thats off the top of my head.

I think it's just dodgy hit detection that causes wierd things, rather than the size of the bullet.

All the bullets in the game are probably the same size, and all you really see is a yellow streak when bullets fly by you.

They are probably all the same size, but each weapon has a different power.

That, or, the hit boxes are way off
Here is a classic Hitbox example from Counterstrike, I know most of you have probably seen it.

PS you might want to turn the music off LOL!

Just like in BF2142, the hit boxes in CS are obviously off from the model of the character themself.  It's called latency.  You need to fire so that by the time the game realizes that you fired, the character that you shot at moved oh so slightly that he is now in front of you.

And that music's pretty good.
