plane whores,heli whores,tank whores,jeep whores, medic whores,krakand whores,sniper whores,c4 whores,anti air whores,noobs,skilless,every one is a whore to the lesser player.

All these are terms that pop up in every bf2 players mouth, why? because no matter how good you are with a weapon, wether it is a rifle,a tank or a plane, there wil ALLWAYS be somone out there that handles the same tool better of differently. What is the deffenition of a whore? is it a guy that is better than you and doesnt stop until the bell rings? or is it a guy that knows the in´s and out´s of the map and the weapon hes using?

sure i get pissed of when someone owns me with a weapon that i cant get back on,but the question is why was i there in the first place?
everything runs in a sequence: knife takes life, pistol takes knife, rifle takes pistol, noobtube takes rifle,anti-tank takes noobtube, jeep takes anti-tank,APC takes jeep, tank takes APC,heli takes tank, plane takes heli. you see the pattern?

if u get owned, there was a reason for it,and its not that ur weapon sucks, its most likely because your tactics failed. wrong place to the wrong time, with the wrong weapon.

I rest my case...

I think it's important to check their favorite kit.  I love AT.  I play Karkand because AT is so much fun on that map.  there are always tanks and APCs and jeeps flying around just asking for an ERYX in the ass.

I think that you're right, it's tough to pin how good a player is...you kind of have to play with them.  in my opinion, a good player is good at everything.  a guy who's fantastic at one kit is only that: fantastic at one kit.  If you're no good in a plane or a chopper, you're not as good as a guy who is, simply because he's better than you at something.

Take me, for example.  if you look at my stats, I'm not that good in a plane.  But I'm working on it.  I used to suck as a chopper pilot, but I've gotten a whole lot better.  I say, I'm a better player than I was before.  I'm more valuable to my team than I used to be.  There are few things more frustrating in this game than starting a new round and getting your asses bombed out by J10s and assault choppers because no one on your team can fly.

I read your post.  You make some valid points, but I think the way you present them, with that awful attitude, will be what causes people to flame you.  I've found that a lot of people on this forum respond well to opinions that differ from theirs if you present them maturely, with sound arguments supported by logical thinking.

Every kit is important if you play it well.
An accurate sniper can sit back all day long and earn tickets for his team, and really irritate the other team.  a truly GOOD sniper will be so annoying that the other team will be distracted and try to hunt him down rather than capturing a outpost.
Spec ops is important for blowing up the commanders toys.  If your team has UAV and the other team does not, you will win 9 out of 10 times.
Assault is a fantastic kit for punching through enemy lines.  If a player knows how to utilize the flashbang well and the smoke grenade well, he will find that capturing flags becomes very easy.
Support keeps the rest of the team fully loaded.  good players don't die before they run out of ammo.  Nothing like wandering around toting a pistol looking for ammo, that's for sure.
Medics win games.  Medics who revive a lot keep their team's tickets up.  plain and simple.
Anti tank keeps the opponent armor in check.  a squad of 3 or 4 at guys will keep enemy armor far away from where it needs to be.
Engineer is most important for the vehicles.  I've found that most engineers don't "waste" time by repairing their commander's assets.  Engineers usually use the repair feature while in an armor, but that's good!  It gives their own armor a fighting chance against my AT squad.

a player who is good at all of those, who captures flags, and who has a good commander score, is a good player.

Everything which I want to say against Linus original post has already been said...which is a lot.
But, its agreed that karkand tards have fuck all to worry about - even more so now that they have their precious IO mode.

I regard myself as a decent allround player. Although I cant fly jets for shit and I hate Support...I can use all the other kits and vehicles well (chopper is currently being learnt ).
Its not skill-less to fly a chopper in a circle around a CP...its a different kind of skill. I mean ffs, what else is a chopper supposed to do? Sit on the helipad waiting for another cartillery attempt against it?

Stats are accurate, it just depends on how you look at them and how long you look at them, whilst taking into account other stats.
Example: The "Rate my Stats thread". As soon as I see an expert pistol badge, I immediatly check their BRS on karkand, knife and pistol kills against their time used. Its usually easy to notice.
I have 4000flag caps, 3000 cap assists and 1500 defended CP's, yet 49% of kills in vehicles, of which less than 4hours in jets. With an SPM of 2.6 and almost 2KDR, with most time spent on non city maps...what kind of player does that make me? You dont need to answer, because I often end up capping the flags that makes the difference between the team winning or losing.

I hate this idea of "dying from a skillless weapon/person". It is complete bullshit. So you are a footsoldier, do you honestly expect to be able to take out a jet? I think not.

You have no right to moan about a player or set of players who are "skillless tards" just because they killed you or have inflated stats. The only exceptions are nade spammers and claywhoring fucks - because unlike choppering or jets, that really does require NO skill.
Quit worrying about other players and concentrate on yourself and your own account and doing what YOU find fun.
