I went to the Bruins game last night, season opener, and I was psyched since I am one of the biggest Bruins fans around, or maybe I should say I'm one of the biggest Bruins fan left... But anyways, I went with 5 other guys and we all had our chests painted. B-R-U-I-N-S. We're trying show our love and support to the damn team. All the fans are psyched to see us, we were the star attraction outside of the Garden, hell, even a Calgary fan took a picture with us. We get inside and first thing we hear is from a security guard that ripped our tickets out of our hands and said "Section 313, you guys better put your shirts back on and if they come off again, you're out of here." We were so pissed. We made it up to the seats and just decided to take the shirts off at the first Bruins goal. Luckily, we scored 18 seconds into the game so we didn't have to wait too long. They never came up to yell at us or anything, but the simple fact that the security guards were absolute assholes to us pissed me off. Everybody has their own ideas for supporting their team, this was ours for the night. They'd basically kick us out for showing our appreciation to the Bruins. Grr, I was pissed!!!

Go BRUINS!!!  Great team to watch.  Not to mention I had excellent luck with them when playing NHL 94' on Genesis lol.  Yeah, from what I hear, the Indy pro basketball team isnt filling the stands as they used to.  With the ignorance of many of our team members acting out like stupid asses, its no wonder.  People want to go and see a good competitive basketball game.  They dont want to watch a bunch of over paid 20 year olds fuck around and not really play all that tough.  But then again, most of those over paid players would rather jump into the stands and get in a fight with the crowd in another city, go outside of a night club and fire a gun randomly.  Those are only a few incidents in the past couple years that have happened.....I know there are a few slipping my mind.

1. Who are the Bruins?

2. Do they play Rounders or Netball?

3. What type of paint did you use?

Only the coolest sport on earth, hockey! Come on, next to soccer, hockey is probably the most popular sport of all time due to it's large fan base.

Especially during the multi-year strike the fan base just grew and grew.

hockey - greatest sport ever.

I personally am a HUGE paul kariya fan, have all his jerseys (except for his team canada ones, which i hope to get), but i also live near probably thr biggest hockey city there is= Toronto.  Their team isn't exactly great, but their fans are incredible.  my whole family are leaf fans (cept me woot nashville).  I can see ur point on where they told u to heep the shirts on...fuckers, when u were leaving u should have streaked to piss them off lol.

GO NASHVILLE!

oh and btw.  Bruins are awsome, but when they lost thorton, i dunno, just kinda screwed them i think.   Who was he in a fight with? the coach?  cause if it was the coach, then instead of getting rid of Thorton, i wouldve fired the cuntish coach

It was Mike O'Connel's last desperate attempt to keep his job. He's a fuckin douchebag, that's why he did it. I liked Thornton and it's ashamed we lost him but we still have a great team. We just need a little more time to build some chemistry, which we seem to be doing. Only problem is that now Alberts, M Stuart, Sturm, and Mowers is injured. Luckily Sturm and Mowers will return soon, Stuart and Alberts is out for 2 weeks the minimum.

And to all you hockey haters out there, what sport do you watch and why is it better?

I personally think hockey players are tougher and with bigger and better hits. These guys don't get carried off the ice unless they actually can't skate. Here's some huge hits:

Here's a great video of just hits:

Hell, you don't have to watch just NHL for big hits either:

Anything any other sport has, hockey has.

Eh, I love hockey.  I played up until I was 13 then pussied out for my high school team.  Anyways, Hockey is a great sport.  I've visited the Hockey Hall of Fame in Canada and saw the Stanley Cup, it was awesome.

Bruins...Right.  Anyone know of Bill Guerin?  Well when I was younger (5-12), he was my neighbor's uncle.     I got to play roller hockey with him and stuff, he got us free tickets to the Devils vs. Flyers games, because I'm a Flyers fan.  <--Great team.

Anywho.  Yea, I think that hockey has lost its appeal to most fans after its holdout because it left a bad taste in most fans mouths.

Love hockey.

Go FLYERS!

Edit: Oh yea, don't let the security guards get you down man.  It's their job to be all around douchebags to everyone.

yeah, a sport where grown men get in fist fights, while playing, how superior.  The only sport more melodraumatic than hockey is soccer.  of course every hit looks big, they're standing on sharp steel blades, on ice, one little nudge, and they go flying.

Reciprocity, way to contradict yourself. First you say people get in fist fights, then you say one little nudge and they go flying. If one little nudge sent them flying, a fist fight would never go longer than one punch. That would make this fight impossible to have happened:

And in case your feeble mind can't comprehend what those two counters are for, the top counter is how long the fight lasts, the bottom counter is how many punches are thrown. 71 punches in 31 seconds is quite the incredible feat.

Ive never really watched hockey apart from when I come home blind drunk in the early hours and watch it on Channel 5. I remember playing the NHL games and owning with the New Jersey Devils, they seemed to have a load of Canadian/French players if I remeber correctly (probably pissed out of my face while playing too), Broderic (?) in goal and some other players..........???

Edit: I think its Martin Brodert or something like that?
