I have a confession to make: I never use single shot mode. Never. I know lots of people use it but I'm not one of them.

The bad news is that I sometimes get into single shot mode by accident. I accidentally press '3' while I'm already holding my primary weapon, or I hit '3' twice by accident. Bad things happen when I get into single-shot mode by accident.

Does anyone know of a way to make it so pressing '3' twice does not put me into single-shot mode?

I searched here and at totalbf2.com and all I found was other people like me whining about accidentally getting into single shot mode.

Yea I dont use single either, i just leave it on auto and tap the button to fire single shots. That way when something surprises me I can spray it. I never accedentally put my gun in single although when picking up someone elses gun thats in single and trying to treat it as full auto things get interesting.

I don't think you would want to (if you could) because you would still need to be able to switch it back if you pick up a kit from someone using single.
