I figured this out by accident the other day on Daqing Oilfields 64 player.
When you're in a ground vehicle, any pilot that has his bombs selected will see a little box around you onscreen, right? A lot of pilots, particularly bomber pilots, will just dive in and drop all their bombs on you. Unless the pilot sucks, you're dead.
Now I like doing really annoying stuff to the other team ingame, and it dawned on me while dodging bombs that I could use the target indicator to my advantage; by parking right next to an enemy commander asset and waiting for an enemy plane to see my indicator, and bomb me Not only did I manage to take out an arty cannon, but I also forced the pilot to lose points! I taunted him and didn't get a response, but I bet he was pissed!
After a short while they wised up and started using their cannons against me instead of bombs. What did I do? I put 3x C4 on the vehicle, and two on the asset itself; I was still killed, but the exploding C4 would still take out the asset and I'd get a point for it!
I also found the best vehicles are the transports with MGs that can turn through 360 degrees, as this allows you to shoot at infantry and choppers.
