Come on EA, this one is really stupid.

If you're going to add the all new fangled up titan mode, you could have programmed the physics within the game correctly. A player aboard the titan should be RELATIVE to the titan, not the ground. I can't count the number of times I'd stand next to a corner of the titan when it's accelerating and drift through a wall, thereafter receiving the messege "Fear58 is no more".

I give EA some credit, as this is really the only thing bugging me right now. Oh, and the map Minsk. Honestly, what do you all see in that map? It sucks.

This should explain the bodies just falling through and magically sliding across the floor.

Whats with you not being able to pick up kits in the Titan as well? I hope this gets fixed.

i bet in the future they are going to patch it so the titan cant move, this way they dont have to worry about fixing something to how it should be. you know for sure this is going to happen.

As a correction to my own statement, I guess I should be pointing the finger at Dice, as I just remembered they're the head dudes in the coding section of this franchise.

I have fell through a floor and RIGHT into the sight of 10+ Enemies that's just waiting for to fire. Sadly I was tk by my own friend. What's the odds for that? huh >.>

But yea, this is one of the most anoying thing but so far I can handle it. Because.

1: I'm not camping inside the titan I run around with shottie. :3 Or trying to knife them from behind.

But one thing they REALLY REALLY have to fix is the knife. It's like hitting thin air 90% of the time when running after an enemy and that's not fun. A normal Knife fight can take up to a minute, one reason why I pick up my gun instead.
In Counter Strike Source you actually HIT with the knife FAR better than here. >.>

well, that does give a new way of defending the titan. slam on the accellerator. you don't even get the Tks for the friendliesthat you kill.

Coding the X,Y,Z position relative to the Titan is a good Idea, however you would have to add in Titan direction, speed,etc. And the end result is more calculations globally to determine player position and more code for Dice to Fuck up.

I think, as the map (hud) changes when you enter a titan, it would be possible to solve several issues  by creating a seperate "level" or segregated enviroment within the Titan, where the only thing  that needs to be rendred is the Inside of this space, and within the Titan, players would not need to be rendered to those not in the Titan.

But what the hell do I know, I don't have the excellent pile of source code to ruin like Dice does.

They did do that in beta2... needless to say there were far more bugs and glitches (titan exploding when grenades go off and respawning with full shield, titans flying through eachother, extreme lag, etc) than ever before so I guess they changed it back.

Well if it turns out that they cant fix it (or too lazy to), than I wouldnt have any problem with Titan not beeing able to move. Ofcourse it should kick in after the shield goes down. This way you would have plenty of time to position the titan. Not the best of solutions but beets the current situation.

Creating a new level/map just for the Titan would be best.  I don't see what would be terribly hard about it.  I could imagin a little lag when you change from outside to Titan or from Titan to outside.

You make it sound complicated.
The only thing they need to revise is the X and Y coordinates. What VECTOR the titan is taking, and WHAT acceleration (should be constant). After that, determing what is aboard the titan is other problem. Why don't they go back to looking at how the computer started calculations such as these; "ON" "OFF". 1010001001000101011100000
