One Issue with BF 2142!!!!!!!!!!

Alright so after attempts and many different approaches I have figured out on major issue with BF 2142 that I'm not sure if EA knows about.

Issue being that I started running BF 2142 and then CTRL ALT DEL out to find that my McFee at virus was stopping it. I clicked allow of course and it just kept popping up again and again and again and again....

SO I disable it only to find out that the windows firewall does not have it in its exception list even though it claims it does!??!?!

SO I disable both my firewalls and guess what... the game still doesn't play even with all low settings and BF2 playing beautifully at MEDIUM!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such frustration...

But EA needs to fix this issue!!!

Should have learnt on BF2, EA suck at making games work.
Let alone helping with a problem.

if you read the 2142 manual it states at some point that you should disable all anti-virus programs, and then disable all background programs before running 2142. 2142 comes with a small amount of Spyware that 'is there solely for demographic uses' or something like that, so your virus programs may be detecting it scanning your computer or something and they're saying no.
