Alright so yea 2 weeks ago Windows system32 somehow got corrupted and ive been getting data off of my harddrive. I was wondering if i could somehow backup my bookmarks for firefox. I cant seem to find the backupfile i made earlier when windows was working. Is there any other way of finding my bookmarks?

On the side is there a way i could change my external hard drive from FAT32 to NTFS because it wont allow me to copy my dvd projects(around 4.2 gigs) from my hard drive to my external.

Dunno about the bookmarks but here's how to convert FAT32 to NTFS

Q: Is it possible to convert a FAT32 Hard Drive to NTFS without losing all data on the drive? I like to change from FAT32 to NTFS, my operating system is Windows XP PRO, how can I do that? Without the lost of my programs?

A: Standard Windows utility that is called CONVERT serves this purpose

Just go to the Command Prompt and execute the command:

C:\> CONVERT C: /fs:ntfs

Where C: is a name of the drive you want to convert.

After machine re-boot conversion process will start and you'll have your FAT32 converted to NTFS without of data loss.

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\70bym1kz.default\bookmarkbackups
(Highlighted foldernames may be different)

C:\format c: /u/q
it will let you convert any partition to NTFS...

somehow backup my bookmarks for firefox

Go to bookmarks - manage bookmarks - file - export

This will create a bookmarks.html file.

Import this in to the new firefox and it will be all peachy again.
