I'm looking for a new case for my next build. All of my computers have clear side panels, lots of led lights. What should I choose next? I'm thinking about the Antec P180. does anybody have this case? I heard its kinda flimsy on the front and sides and the wiring is not good. Any suggestions?

I like the ones with clear panels. Mines blue. I can see inside to make sure fans are working and any other kind of physical check. Plus they look cool...
And I need it as a night light....
Anyway try this

You could take a case like mine. It just depends on how much space you want in your case.

If you have the money to spend, I'd recommend a Lian-Li.
Can't get any better than an aluminum case.

I am the proud owner of a P180.
It is hands down one of the higest quality cases I have ever used, and I get lots of compliments on how quiet it is. (the insulated side pannels kill off quite a lot of noise) the 3 120's keep it plenty cool without making noise, and the pannels arent the slightest bit flimsy.
Wiring is the biggest issue. some power supplies can't reach the main 20-24 pin jack on the motherboard, but mine has plenty of extra slack. I know xmod psu's tend not to reach. just something to concider.
Once you get your P180 together you will not be dissapointed.

P180 has probably the best airflow of any reasonably priced case around at the moment

CAnt beat the look at night, everything is screwless, It has 3 fan monitors and the time and temp setting ansd a flashing cobra in the display window. The two front lights are blue fangs. Inside is red. You also get a coupon for a free light kit and other free stuff. Great airflow also. Vid card stays 40c. Case temp is 20c
FTW!!!-TL- wrote:

That is the case you want. Wins hands down.
Mines a "classic" case, as you put it. Got cathodes and LED fans in it tho so the light comes out through all the random air vents, windowed cases just look shitty IMO.
I have a Thermal Take Tai Chi...no windows but its sweeeeeet!

Hell I got a super lan boy ill sell you for $20 plus shipping. 2 120 mm fans and carry strap. Light as a feather LOL. Cheap to ship. Grates cut off the fan houseings for awesome airflow. LOL. Say the word and its yours.
Heres something you dont see every day. Talk about airflow LMAO

All the issues you mentioned with the front door being flimsy were fixed early on. The P180 is hands down the best case you can buy, quiet, very well build and great airflow. The only issue i think it has is cable management, but if you take a bit of time about it you will get it perfect!
With my P180 and the rest of my setup, I have the quietest but most powerful machine I've ever owned. Plus it looks very nice, no flashy neon lights or any real noise to keep you awake or other annoyances like that
So if you get one you will not be disappointed!
Its also SPCR's recommended silent PC case.
Have a read at their many articles on the case!

Mine is a black X-Blade, very nice in the night
so many choices.
I'm leaning toward the P180 since I never owned an Antec product before and it sounds like it has great air flow.
thanks for the info guys
See you on the battlefield.
