Is it me or does the movement when trying to snipe totally suck!

Actually...., i can answer that i SUCK, but damns its hard,

It takes me a few minutes to line a persons head up.

Is their a "Hold your breath" function like on Ghost Recon... stoping the movement. That'll be sweet!!!

what i really want EA/DICE to add for a next patch is the ability to hold the breath for a short time... okay i know there is a sniper that comes with a stabilizer but i mean, a way to hold your breath to atleast SLIGHTLY minimize the swaying...

in addition, i suck at sniping too...

I've never noticed it being much of a problem, but I guess I'm used to it from CoD/CoD2. It's nice that it reduces the effectiveness of snipers so they can't dominate as much as they could on BF2.

Excellent, haven't seen that unlock yet! Shame it doesn't work for the other guns...but hey dont have much prob with them!!

i am not great at sniping, but played cod for a long while and got used to it, i think its just a matter of getting used to a moving x-hair and know wen to let rip with the shot, its like most thing once you get the nack your soon become a pro.... or not

I think the aiming seems artificial .. imo its suited for picking a target quickly and shooting rather than lying in wait.

I used the sniper, now i just use the Lambert and Baur. And the gruber is a waste. it is useless and its easier for me to snipe without it

lol i only have the demo , meaning no unlocks at all and i OWN as sniper. the sniper class had changed from BF2, you cant stand up and shoot. to reduce the sway GO PRONE. at close range snipers are cool, pop a quick body shot then wip out ur pistol, actualy i usualy make more pistol kills as sniper than with the rifle.

at close range:

Rifle= damaging target
pistol= finish him off.

Long range:

WAIT FOR UR SHOT, use the sway to ur advantage, the pattern is ususaly the same so wait till it will sway to the head and fire.

The scope movement ROCKS because noobs CAN NOT make easy kills with a sniper gun. lol

for example i am on SIDI at the Generator core of map. a sniper was on one of the towers. i ran at him, he was shootign all around me and i got him with my SMG. lol try that in BF2 and u get headshoted. lol

I think there should be sway when one is standing and crouched, but not prone. I'm sure all sniper rifles come with BIPODS! But this doesn't affect me, as i'm usually assualt. Voss + PK74 rockets + defib = awesome medic!

I have no problem with it at all. i think its awesome they added it in. every other game i've played besides CS and BF2 the rifle sways. its incredibly easy to get used to.

The stabilizer works for all 3 sniper rifles and the Lambert Carbine.

My thoughts are its pointless on the Lambert. The sniper sway doesn't bother me if I am sitting still. All that said, the stabilizer is beautiful in those run and gun scenarios. It encourages more combat sniping and less girl scout tactics.

I find sniping easier thatn in bf2 for some reason. I got the stabliser but rarely use it as apms and rdx are both far more useful. The Zeller-H also helps as it's got a better sight and is WAY more powerful - 1 shot kills to the body ftw...

Oh and when you get the 4x zoom it gets MUCH easier...
