Ok, firstly sorry if this had been covered already but I've never seen it before and couldn't find any reference to it.

Last night I was assaulting the enemy Titan, but the opposing team blew up the APC we were using so I had a look for somewhere else to spawn. Fortunately there was one guy in his own as a squad leader on the Titan, so I swapped squads to spawn on him next time. When I did spawn on him I was a little surprised to see where we were.....

Three of us then merrily blew up the core and the defenders couldn't do anything to stop us as the doors to the core were closed.

Uh huh. It's a glitch. Been around since the first Beta test. Generally if you find yourself in this situation the sportsmanlike thing to do is to suicide. If your squad leader buddy decides not to, then teamkill him before committing suicide.
Then again when in the history of this game have people done the sportsmanlike thing?

What exactly is the point of taking out the core before it is time? You get ONE win?? What a waste.

The points come from battling it out in the Titan. Points give you unlocks. All these glitches that let you finish a round prematurely are worthless.

You should be able to enter your own core btw, that would be the way to prevent this from ruining a game.

But I guess it is pretty fun to piss off the whole server by taking out the enemies Titan.

Lol... maybe EA/DICE can implement an insta-kill field inside the Titan core until the consoles are blown. Or maybe have an invincible force field around the reactor until the consoles are blown, and maybe a 5-second delay on that.

And it would be fun to see how many pistol shots a Titan can take...
