problem with 2142 game...PLZ HELP!

ok...mu friend just got 2142 and has installed it fine, when he loads it up, he can see the clip of the walker shooting then the EA logo. after that the screen goes black and he crashes to desktop.

Any suggestions? please help!

Post his machine specs. I'll assume you did a complete uninstall and reinstall.

his specs are fine...the are all above required...what now?

hes reinstalled the game 4 times and it still happens

I had the same problem : Good specs and black screen before shutting down....It was the firewall !.....Now it works fine...
