Yes I do, believe it or not "arrogant dick" is alot better than the title most Bf2 players have IMO. In fact Arrogant Dick would be a compliment for the idiots that fill up the Bf2 servers.
If there ever was a failure "player" wise in a game, its BF2. Good gameplay means **** if the players are dumb tards, and Bf2's a perfect example. BF2 was supposed to be the best FPS for 2005 and years to come, instead the "players" caused the failure. Bitching like babys about b-hopping and just dumb issues until EA answered there call.....hell even after v1.4 I still see players bitching over dolphin diving (go figure eh).....You cant please Bf2 players, its impossible.

Bf2 players wouldnt know teamwork if it hit them in the head and beat them cold... But theres nothing I can do really. 2142 is just as much of a failure as BF2 was "player" wise. "Players" were already bitching about it before it even ****ing came out...would you believe that bull ****....the game wasnt even out yet and already people are making a mockery of the next game in the BF series.

BF series officially has the worst community i've ever seen in a game period...hell WoW's community is looking good right now, IMO. Luckily im a loyal fan to BF series. The BOTS in SP would make better partners in multiplayer than the aVErage player.

AT least the BOTS cant call my mother a whore and tell me im  a **** sucker....
OK, you have me there. I just try to look at a glimmer of hope in bf2.  Im hoping that all the half asses will move onto 2142, leaving the players well adjusted to BF2 to play like the game was intended, without the hilarious "enemy boat spotted" being spammed in The Mashtuur map over and over. Plus, The best teamwork comes from clans. join one!  The times I don't get kicked from a clan-ed squad and allow me to run with them usually are sweet.  just six guys over VOIP can take down the opposing team by coordinating kits and manuevers. You can't say there is no decent team playing players out there, besides, you can always detect a collection of retards sharing the same squad number pretty quick and move on.

Never played UT did you?

The fact is if you play solo in public servers it's a crap shoot.

Most of the time you get a bunch of guys that have very little clue how, or why, to function as a team and don't seem to grasp the concept of cooperation; even within a squad you'll often see guys going off doing their own thing and even if sometimes this is a good idea (if you want to try to recap two flags simultaneously) normally it's best to stick together to some degree.

Every now and again you can get lucky and you're in a squad that is kicking ass and really doing things right and then the gameplay in BF2 really comes into its own... gimme me an IO game, practically any map, with five squadmates that know their arse from their elbow and are sticking together (one support, two or three medics with me as sniper) and I'm as happy as a pig in muck and more often than not we'll decimate the opposition.

You want to have good teamplay experiences more often find some friends and play together, join a clan or whatever; for some people teamwork is their 'most of the time'. It's expecting too much to have random groups of players (many of whom are children don't forget and by the law of averages most of them won't be intelligent, plus they inherently lack the experience and cognitive skills that someone older might have) cooperate and function well as small teams. If that came naturally to people it wouldn't have to be trained so heavily by people who do this sort of thing for real.

Im always playing in squads, any squad, and we play well together. Me as SL or not. Granted, I play mostly SF so you dont have half as many faggots who dont know what they're doing.

The problem is, is that people who are either in a clan on BF2 or have been in a clan in another game will know about teamwork and tactics and put that to use once they know what theyre doing in this game. Thats exactly what I did. I learnt the game (and am still learning) and devising and adding new tactics to it as I go along. You cannot expect a low ranked Corporal to understand teamwork when they have only played the game for about 100hours. Chances are, they dont know how to shoot properly and frown upon all types of vehicle.
The ranks that I expect to be good, decent, quality teamwork players and serious asskickers are SgtMjr's and above. Granted, not all of them are, but thats my usual expectance. i.e. if a Corporal jumps in as a gunner into my chopper, I will try and give him targets up close and hover it a lil to make it easier to shoot. Unless he proves himself well, i.e. TV missiles, etc.
Its just a case of adapting how you play to suit the level of player with you.

But better squadwork and teamplay can be found on SF, outside of Warlord - or karkand2 as I call it. Gator, Ghost Town, NF and Devils Perch in particular, are usually good for teamwork.

Thats' just selfish.

Locking a single man squad... what are you trying to prove?

What can't you trust about other players?, they going to take off with a medi bag and not replace it?

/get over it.

There are quite a few trusting people in the game. I make a squad, invite people, and if they are excellent, I keep them. If they are noobs and don't listen, or cooperate, I kick them.

Easy as that.

I think its the "stats" that really did Bf2 in. While stats made Bf2 what it is, it also destroyed it at the same time.

OMG shut up!  You are like the kid who cant get along with other players and takes the ball and goes home.  BF2 is a team sport.  If your team is bad then join another squad.  To get a squad and lock it removes another group the ability to resupply and uav.  Stick to single player before you lock your squad.  It will save you the TKs later.
