Has anyone noticed that when you pull out your combat knife now it has you dog tags attached ? seems EA are adding things all the time, ie posters, dog tags, what next hopefully the character taunts and the recon ability to make vehicles invisible
Thats The Knife Unlock. You get it either after Vet Knife or 75 Knifes, I cant Remember.

I wouldn't call it an unlock; one day it's just there, you don't have to spend an unlock on it.
Don't you get it after so many knife kills? Plus the knife looks far deadlier now rather than the old butterknife before. I got mine once I got my silver knife badge.
You need 50 unique kills to get it

well now i need to step up my stabbing efforts
i dont play 2142 but i have seen a few screen shots of that knife you guys are talking about......im a blacksmith and my living is making knives. and i know it really doesnt matter but i just felt like posting but in reality if you used a knife like that the first time you hit a bone that thing would be a paperweight. but hey it definitly looks cool, and it even inspired me to try to make one like it and auction it off to some BF freak....anyway, have a good one all.
you know you could probably sell alot of those on ebay
i got 50++ unique tags but still didnt got it :S
Knife looks cool. Taunts would be cool, but probably way abused and get annoying. Recon making vehicles invisible? No thank you.
The funny thing is that, when I first got the knife unlock, I though "WTF is this another bug?"
I was having a bad day with no unlocks, no ranks, crashes, etc. Then all of a sudden, the things are starting to get back to normal and I saw the knife which made me worry about whether the game was going to crash again. Anyway, somehow I find the normal knife without the dog-tag attachment cooler. I don't knoe why I think that way but whatevier (I spelled it that way intentionally).

You mean the Dogtagger Dagger?
vet kinfe! COOL!!
i might give it a shot....anyone got any good pics of that knife? if i can get the dimensions correct it might actually work. however it could never actually be "used" because that design is shit for strength.
my god that will be a difficult project.....first dillema forge the knife whole and then try to cut out the pieces? or forge the knife in the final shape with all the holes in the blade? i love projects like this, ill keep you guys posted on what i come up with.
but just so i cover my ass now: this will only be a display piece, i do not belive that i will be able to give that knife strength when it is missing metal in so many vital places. it will be able to hold a surgically sharp edge but it WILL NOT be able to do any serious cutting. ie. chopping wood etc.
just needed to cover my bases so if someone decides they want to buy i dont get screwed...
anyway later all

It is called "excessively defending the Titan with pre-emptive strikes and bringing your own hand-made ammo".
And no, I don't do it. If I wanted to experience monotony, I might as well attend my lectures.
