Squad idea

What do you guys think of this idea?

In your options you can check something off so that whenever you join a game it automatically puts you into a squad or automatically makes a squad for you.

See my thinking is that there aren't that many squads because people don't want to spend the time picking a squad out (no big deal I know, but people are people), so my thinking is that if something like this was made possible there could be a big boost in squad numbers and possibly overall team play.

Oh and another thing I would really like to see implemented would be a "locked" customization; you know when you customize your kit. I would love for it to stay that way until I change it (even if I get off).

That sounds good, except for the fact that most people would leave it unchecked!

I'd like to see an automatic option like this:

You preselect ALL the equipment you'd like for each kit so that whenever you started the game and/or switched teams for the first time, you don't have to go through the annoying process of customization. There's a real convenience function that was overlooked.

There should be like a "Kit Loadout" function, so you could create custom loadouts, and just with a click, have it set

Besides that I wish BF2142 remembers my kit configuration for ANY server that I enter at ANY time. I am tired having to reconfigure EVERYTHING again.

Also, I wish BF2142 remembers the name of the custom squad name that I used to create from the round before so that I do not have to keep typing the name again and again. I usually go with one theme per day when I play so that equals to couple dozen rounds of typing again and again, reconfiguring again and again...

Even if people were forced into joining squads, you'd still have a few squad members not helping you out at all. Last night all my squad leader was doing was point whoring with the titan guns.... he had 93 teamwork points and nothing else... he never left our titan! i was the one who got most of the defense points in our squad. I think more servers should be "teamwork exclusive" so you know that the people you're playing with actually promote working together. It's been quite a while since i actually got "field upgrades" because the SL never assigns orders!
