Bulletproof Weekends.

For some reason, mainly weekends, It seems that a large amount of my targets are bulletproof. I usually snipe. I will have my crosshairs resting on a prone target for about a second and fire. The bullet goes right through. Other times it's completely off mark. I will see dirt fly up from my shot 7 or 8 feet off target. These are long ranged targets but, not extreme. I can see what kit they have so, they are fairly close for sniper range. Same with extreme distances too. I will fire numreous shot dead on and nothing. This has only happened the past month or so.

Is it a bug? Lag? Hack? I don't know but, it gets very annoying. My K/D ratio with the rifle is on avg. 5:1 in the past month. On weekends though it feels more like 1:5. Just makes the game frustrating to miss out on so many kills and assists. I many play on 64 player servers. Incase that makes a difference.

Anyone else every have this issue?

nah no issues with me, 90%of the time its a 2 hit kill though

yup.. which kinda makes sense when you think about the demographic that plays on the weekend... either school kids who cheat, or are real good. Let's not forget about the increased load on the servers/providers bandwidth due to the increased traffic.

Seriously though, it could be ping issues from chocked server bandwith or maybe the drugs you're probably taking ;P

The drugs steady my aim. As for ping. That was my guess. My ping is usually around 20 myself.

I guess it is a little of everything. Maybe I'll just stick to medic on the weekends.

Ping has little to do with lag. It's probably more of an issue with lag on the server or the target is cheating. Both of those are the risk you take when you play online. They both suck though.

Thats why I dont even try to play on the weekends, I had the same problem. I think its due to my network here ( 4 pc`s running ) and the fact that the other people in my neighborhood connected to the same node are prolly online as well. I dont even play after 5 pm for the same reasons, thank god I work second shift lol

I dont pay attention to whether it's on the weekend or not, but I've come across a couple "bulletproof" people in recent weeks. Whether it was a server problem or a hack I couldn't tell ya, but in a Sharqi game about a week ago there was one individual that I couldn't kill no matter what I tried. I came across him I think 3 times in the game (can't remember name, started with L, Lorrien or something) and would have him in my L85A1 sights. One of the times I emptied 2 full clips into him in single shot mode. What's strange is he started looking all around for me, but never got up and ran, which leads me to think he might've had a hack going and had nothing to worry about. It very well could've been the server, but I had no problems killing anybody else out there, so I just left to find a different server.

its in your mind, more than likely. you probably play more on the weekends, so you remember more frustrating events. not to mention, you snipe, with which gun? if you getting pretty inaccurate with the US sniper, yeah, i cant understand your frustrations, but if its otherwise, well, those guns suck.

ive met people that i thought were bulletproof, but i look back afterwards and its just perception.

try keeping an actual paper tally of kill/death ratios, and look it over afterwards.
