1st account not reflecting your current skill level?

Make a new account. When I 1st bought BF2 I was like everyone else, a noob. (God I hate that word).
I really didn't take the game to seriously at 1st. me and like 4-5 buddys would use Bf2 VOIP and just mess around in the game, exploring the game, if you will. Sadly this didnt do my stats any good. With my 1st account my KDR was barely over 1.7 and SPM topped 2.2 at the most. But none the less we had some good times, I sadly lost contact with these guys.

By the time I reached some of the higher ranks, I had gotten better and started up with clans. I became increasingly more fluid at the game, being able to do well almost every round in pubs and matches.

I was really tired of looking at that 1.7 KDR and barely 2.2 SPM everyday. And yes I am a stat freak, I micro manage all my stats. If I need to raise a KDR for something i'll exclusively use that specific kit or weapon until I get that KDR where I want it.

So I recently created a new account and i'm very pleased. 3+ KDR for both SPM and KDR.

its better to have a less *pwnage* account or what you call it but with stats/awards which you have put in quite some hours etc and you feel good about, then just having a whatever sergeant account just to have those

owange accuracy/spm/kdr bullshit, you know you shouldn't care about that, play the game how you like to play, if your stats gonna suck because of that then so be it...

But thats why I play. Stats are a big part of my gameplay. I still enjoy the game immensely, but its even better when you have good stats. Its always fun for me going into a server and trying to maintain a 3+ kDR for the round.

Awards can be earned back overtime, but its the KDR's that are most important to me.

I still enjoy the game just as much as anyone else, it's just when I play I play for good stats.

I played a second account barely. I went back to my original because - darn it - I'm quite proud that I got my noobish early stats up to 2.5 SPM and 2.0 KD. It's also cool to see the progression over time.

Omg gheys I still have 0.9 KDR on my account my spm is 1.8. I've earned some annoyinng awards so I'd rather keep my account and besides my unlocks I can't live without my P90. My anti tank kdr is one of the most hardest to get to one!!!!!

People who have these rediculous 3+ kdr's, are people who puss out in planes or armor. . .

Great you have a 4.768 kdr in a plane playing wake all day. . . . not impressed!! Its really easy to sit and bomb the shit out of people all day. . . . The J10 is a super plane, and the anti air is not useful!! Anyone with a joy stick, that practices can have that kind of a kdr. . . .

I am MORE impressed with people who dont whore the vehicles and can still come out with a good kdr!!! GROUNDPOUNDERS are the true skilled players!!

This is my first acct. Of course I blew chunks in the beginning. But I got the hang of the game and how to aim. I spent the better part of the past couple of years playing BHD which is one of the better FPS out there. I had to get accustomed to BF2 because BHD is a lot different than BF2. Seriously.

My stats sucked for a long time because I myself sucked for a long time! I wouldn't want to start over thought and not have the unlocks, the rank, and the points though! Even if it takes a long time to raise my k/d or whatever. When you're in game no one sees the stats anyways, just rank and how much you're pwning atm!
