Answer to Titan destructor bug.

Since the EA stat server went live, I check my awards and I noticed this

For Expert Titan destructor, You need to destroy 3 consoles in a round, and the last one you kill has to be the last console.

naw engineer isnt the way to go to destroy consoles, unlock the detpack and have a support dude go with ya

Well get Enginers new Rocket launcher that shoot a blue projectile. It takes like 2-3 of them to destroy those consoles and it's more friendly if some of your friends are close to. Also have those support guys close to you to. :3

But Recon might be faster to do it alone but when you got some people close to you, the enginer kits is more friendly.

Core takes more shots as usuall to.

Pilum H-AVR (ie. Enginers new Rocket launcher that shoot a blue projectile) blows consoles in 3 shots.

the pilum is great for that. i usually end up softening it up for everyone else and losing the points to them.

Nope, I can confirm this as true now. I got Expert Titan Destructor last night. You don't have to kill the core, just make sure you blow up at least 3 consoles, and that you kill the final console.

I got all 4 in a round last night, and sure enough, just as I killed the last one, in roles my shiney gold badge and the 1000 points.

You don't have to destroy the core, all you need are 3 consoles and make sure that you blow up the console that exposes the titan. Basically, to be safe, just do as I did and get the problem solver pin. That should guarantee you get the badge.

I still don't understand how you people manage to destroy all 4 consoles ..
Perhaps you guys do play on full servers right?
And with that I mean on: 48/48 or 32/32 servers?
Because I just can't comprehend how you destroy all 4 consoles on your own, with no one else of your team destroying at least 1 console. Or with the enemy not defending it..
On most servers as soon as 1 or at the most 2 Consoles go down, they start heavy defense in the Titan..

have a buddy on the other team set c4 on it for you then have him run to you and you kill him, take his kit, and blow up the reactors before the shield is even down...

No, thats the problem solver pin, but, if you get the problem solver pin in a round, and before the round you had the silver titan destructor badge, and you had 40 consoles destroyed, then not only do you get the problem solver pin, but also the expert titan destructor badge.

@ Death Dealer, I find it easiest to get the award when your own titan is already being invaded. If the enemy has breached your core, and suddenly their shields go down, you can usually get 2 consoles if you you get on thier titan within a minute of their shields going down. And then, if they really step up the defense, I tend to go engineer so I can defuse APM's.

Hmm.. Thx.. Going to try the engineer-thingy when I've unlocked the Pilium..
need about 500 points or so to get it.. so won't be a problem :-)..
