Nothing worse then turning your turret around to see a spec ops bailing from a jeep and being too close in to aim low enough to smoke him before you're picking a respawn point. Sneaky bastards, god bless 'em
As you guys say, anyone can ram a tank, Gotta respect someone who is good enough to get clear of the blast and run off.
They give you another 'gold moment' opportunity too. It's a good feeling sniping a spec ops as he plants c4 on a friendly tank. It is a -great- feeling fluking a hit on the driver of a jihad jeep as he makes a bee-line at a friendly tank. Only done it twice, am man enough to admit them as more fluke than actual skill but dang it was sweet.
Apart from that, I always break into a big smile when I see a jeep drive past where the spec ops has gone to the trouble of racking up style points by attaching his c4 to the wheels. Spinning skulls on your vehicle for the win.

I'll admit that it's pretty fun being in a tank and barely getting off that tank round before he gets close enough to "jihad" you. This is a very thrilling game because of these kind of elements. The whiney bitch losers are the ones who play the game because of an anal addiction they have as they play for hours like zombies just to rank up, get a medal, etc. They also get pissed when they fail to spot a claymore that blows up in their face, or just getting repeatedly sniped from someone they can't find. I LOVVVVVVVVE getting popped by a sniper because it's very thrilling to equip a sniper rifle and hunt them down.

Although the hitbox lag on a fast jeep is pretty fucking massive. I often hit them with a shell, but it does nothing.
I have a fair amount of time in Tanks.... If a Jihad can get me multiple times....it is my fault. When I kknow someone is doing the jihad thing ....I just have to be a bit more aware. Come and get me and after the first time or two I will smoke your ass.

I got my Expert Explosives on Warlord strapping C4 to an ATV. It was so much fun!! A few guys bitched until I told them that I had 25 C4 kills and then they started laughing at me. At least I only killed myself a few times and at one point I rolled my ATV into a whole squad and got 5 kills with one button push.
Yes it is cheap...but so are a lot of other things players do in this game. Just get good enough so you can get the better of them...then they will stop and try to "Bitch" some one else.

I am getting alot of bad scores doing the jihad thing, but as soon as i can get 20 kills in a round with it, I'm done..then i can work on improving my k/d again! lol
In Bf2 i found it fun to take out tanks using the blackhawk. That was kinda jihading, i have no problem with it.
Iron..Go into an empty server. apply for commander and drop a crate near you. Then jump on an ATV and practice for maybe half an hour of .....drive toward tank.... jump off.....let it roll so it just touches the tank.....run backwards and trigger C4.IRONCHEF wrote:

When you get really smooth at that...then go try it on a real server. Don't limit yourself to tanks. Look for a couple ground pounders running in the street.... and do the same thing to them. Try parking the ATV at a spawn point. Look for an engineer repairing the enemy UAV trailer and roll up behind him and get a kill and a point for destroying enemy assets.
Just a few tricks to try. If you want to get the C4 badge you HAVE to be a BITCH :-)
I love it when you accidentally clip a pole and it somehow sets off your C4 turning you into a massive fireball while 15 insurgents laugh at you.
they can do it in IRAQ, why cant we do it in BF2

I love sticking C4 on my tank, jumping out and pressing my button just before the jeep hits, that really seems to piss the Jihaders off Only way to counter lamer tactics is with an even lamer one if you ask me.

Planewhore never tells you in his dumb posts that his idea of the perfect BF2 is one where he can have a vehicle that cannot be killed so that his stats can be inflated with less effort. How hard is it to stop jihad vehicles with a tank? I would argue that the tank driver's job is much easier than probably everyone including the jihader. At least the person that is jihading is willing to place themself in combat outside of a tank! There is actually risk involved in a strategy like that, tankers barely need to take any risks to get their kills. Planewhore knows all this, tho. C4 is meant to be powerful yet as a balancing feature it has extremely limited range and a slow deployment. This has been made very clear as DICE has nerfed the C4 chucking multiple times though it wasn't nearly as unbalanced as jihading is.
I have no respect for jihaders and I put them in the same lame group of players that runs around on 24/7 Karkand suicide dropping claymores in the alleys.
