Just curious. How fast you type what is it and how accurate?
I'm in the mid to low 60's at about 97 percent (nothing special). I can hit the 70's but of course my accuracy drops..lol . My sister was a type setter at a print shop my parents owned she is well over 100. My girlfriend is a legal assistant and she is around 120 (makes me look like I am in kindergarten).

So who has tested themselves?

We grew up with typing classes and speed testing. The last time I tested myself (few months ago just for fun), I range between 140-160WPM with a 95%-100% accuracy variability.

Being a pianist also helps

For those wanting to test themselves here is a decent site.
http://www.typingtest.com/ I looked at the top 100. Someone was at 195 with 99%. All I can say is damn. 200 wpm is about the same as spoken word.

edit: Took typing test from above. 103 WPM, 94% accuracy.

Heh, I've played piano for 8 years, but I am by no means a pianist.

I get in the mid-70s range. Accurately at 95%. Is that accurate?

I should also mention I had Cubital Tunnel surgery in my right elbow(like carpal tunnel but it's the nerve that controls the outer 2 digits not the inside 3). That doesn't help since those fingers are still basically numb.

Typing tests are gay cause they count it as an error if you backspace. I can type pretty fast, but I don't type correctly with all 8 fingers on homerow and whatnot. But I type really fast by simply memorizing where the keys are and how far to move my hand lol. I use the backspace a lot though cause I move my hand so fast I mis-place it sometimes. I can type around 120WPM.

I propose a competition. Ill type something out take a screenshot of it and post it as an image and lets see who replies the fastest by posting exactly what i typed Grant it the spell check feature in this forum kinda sucks for such a test. Editing your post would make it null also.

The one that's linked in the OP didn't count backspaces as an error. I got 100% accuracy (but only 39 WPM lol)
