I LOVE facing Support people who think they can just lie down and gun me down. A run straight to them, hop over their body, while they struggle to spin around lying done, i prone myself and slice 'im to bits.

Especially when I die from the other three people around me, realizing the FOUR of them weren't good enough to kill a guy with a knife.

That happend to me earlier. we both emptied our clips.... he went for his knife and i pulled my pistol. after i saw his knife i pulled mine out and had a good ol knife fight. he then jumped off the hill

I am a respectful knifer, when someone pulls thier knife, I will to and engage. Couple times though I did this and the person pulls the rifle out and shoots me, it's laughable. Also I dislike when two knifers go at it and some dork uses the GL and blows the person away and goes on his merry way, I guess a kill is a kill..

I had about a 2 min knife fight with some once in a SF map. Ducking and stabing, jumping, and strafing and stabing, and moving and juking and stabing. Another enemy comes up in my field of view, swaps to his kife and runs in. I stab him without even breaking stride (he dove at me knife in hand, I jumped and landed putting my kife in his back). Back to dodge, dip, duck, and dodge. now along comes one of my teamates. Boom boom, all done.

I honestly wish I could have finnished that fight. Althought that is my only good knife fight so far. Normaly when I see some one running with a kife I am either alrady aiming at them, with little to no time to get my kife out (shoot or die), or they are too far off for me to go w/o beeing killed. I used to love knife only rounds in BF1942 (some times people would call it out and nearly every one would join), or CS. Yet I have never seen that happen yet in BF2

Here's another way to think about it. What if someone 'challenges' you to a knife fight and you decide to keep you gun out. What if you loose? Then you'll feel like a total dumbass. Alternativly you could take out your knife for the sole purpose of knowing that if you loose, you were handicapped.

However, I'll stick with keeping my gun out and if I don't kill them and look like an idiot, I'll harp on about how my opponent was cheating.
