well okay, my stepbro got in trouble... for grades and being on the comp late... and my mom is a system's analyst... so she knows computers... so she threatened to check mine.. so being cunning i  created a new username on my computer, and i deleted the old user
so that all the files are gone, forever...Well.. much to my regret, i logged on to bf2142, had to put in my user and pass , no prob, reset the graphics to highest and loaded up a level.. well about 2 seconds after entering the server. PB: WARNING INVALID GUID/CDkey kicking

im zapped back to server select.. with the infamous punkbuster kick scree... any ideas on how to quick fix this without re-installing the game.. because im going to have to do the user delete/create a few more times over the next few days while she still has checkin the system in her mind...

well i got an idea.. lemme know if u think it will work.. if i re install the game, and place the user settings in the battlefield 2142 folder... so that deleting a user off my comp would have no affect on the file

Dont worry man, sometimes this happens to me too. Just leave it for like an hour, and when you come back it should be working better.
It seems its sort of random when this happens.

That happened to me before. All you have to do is reinstall the game on that user account. It seems to me that when you install bf2 you can only play it on the account that you were on when you installed it.
(?)

Hope that helps.

These two answers seem to be the most logical/effective.

Hope your mom dosen't find out that you posted what you did on this thread.
