when i 1st got 2142, everything was working perfectly. for the next 2 days or so, BFHQ (the problem) was working fine. now, for the past week and a half or so, there is nothing showing up to represent my stats, unlocks, awards, leaderboards, or rank. however, i am still able to join multiplayer games and use the unlocks i chose before everything went to hell. My friend and i have put LOTS of time into trying to fix this problem. we have checked my router to make sure it wasn't blocking the ports that EA needed for 2142. we found a few things wrong and my internet-genuis friend got it to where it needs to be. after this, still nothing was showing up. so we tried my account. i gave him my name and password to use on his compy, and he was able to ee my stats, unlocks, rank, etc. perfectly fine, but i still cant do it on my computer. so then we checked my home network again. my brother has the game too so i logged onto my account on his compy, on the same router, on the same internet line and i was able to see everything fine. so we went back to my computer. we reinstalled 2142, re-updated with the patch, and still nothing worked. i tried making another soldier name and i played a few rounds, waited a day or two, and no stats were showing up for me on that name either.
so my friend has come to the conclusion that i must have something, adware, spyware, software firewall, in my compy blocking EA. i know it isnt windows firewall cause i have turned it off, on, off, on off, on and then kept it off. PLEASE any idea. i tried to include the whole story so it wouldnt just be another " WTF rank!?!?!11335532" topic
