I just hit 1000+ hrs and I'm still liking it, SF is still the best even the night maps rock!!!

Couldnt care about next rank, I play just to play.
I'll quit BF2 after I get all of the medals. (Not the purple heart though )
I will never quit why should i same as 1.6 i will allways play it when bored. Atm i play bf2 for 2 hours a night i cant get enough of it i got planes choppers and tanks and im good at all so its fun.
The only way i will quit is if it stops being fun and i cant see that happening. Maybe when crysis comes out it will become my 1.6.

You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.
I was going to quit after I made First Sergeant and move onto 2142 but Ive heard a few bad things about it and I don't particularly like futuristic games either so im just going to stick with BF2. I'm still Gunny Sergeant and haven't played properly in a while though, but thats because I have been playing Pro Evolution Soccer instead. When i get bored of Pro Evo ill probs go back to BF2 and get that next rank.
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
I quit bf2 it was a hard choice to make so i started on 2142 thinking ea/dice might get it right and make a non buggy or not so buggy game. hell was i wrong
I'll quit when I find a game that's better. ATM, I don't want to buy anything. I want Crysis and maybe Spore.

Ive retired from BF2. Never actually thought about it since i got 2142.
As you can see in my score graph on my stats page, Ive "stoped" a few times, but Ive always got back when, for example, a friend got the game, or just when I realized that bf2 was the only good game on my comp. Another friend has just bought it a few days ago, so I play with him.

Once I get 100 hours a commander and 110 hours in armour I'll have all the awards I'm ever going to, and 'll be Sergeant Major by then too. After that I'll probably play mainly in ladder matches etc. but not 2+ hours per night like I do now.

I see myself playing for some time to come. I still have many awards to get. Ideally I'll get a General rank.
150,000 or Colonel then I will find something else to do or play.
I have been retired for about a month now, I stop in from time to time when Im really bored
I still enjoy playing with mates and been hated on servers due to amazing skill, but hey its all fun!

LOL I have already quit this game twice. I dont think I will be going back now.
I'll play at least to get another combat action medal, my second tank medal, try to get 1,000 repairs for meritorious Service Medal (long ways away though)....
I like to be on foot or in ground vehicles, not alot of infantry in 2142, plus the bugs (boohoo) i won't play 2142. It feels like starting all over, plus UNLOCKING ammo and health crates?! c'mon! i'll stay in BF2 for a while yet....
but, with the medal of Valor, 5,000 driver points is lame, screw that medal. after 860 hours ive got 813/5000 driver points. I know how to get the points, but AT rounds and random attacks leave little time in vehicles...
I'll get expert SF badges maybe.....
I never fly, no chopper/jet medals/badges for me....
maybe get Colonel.

i probably won't ever, because i only get to play it at my friend's house and it's the best game ever.
plus i got finish with karkand and now i am trying to get good at the heli, that is why my spm is going down for waiting for heli on sharqi. after i get good at everything or i had enough fun on my favor maps like karkand, sharqi, wake, and sf. i still need to get Ef AND AF to get full gaming of bf2.

Yeah, heliwhoring is the easiest way to get the driver assists...i recently got expert heli and I've nearly got the 5,000 driver points needed for Valor....RoosterCantrell wrote:
