Seriously though, nobody cares. Go play BF2.
People, whoever hates BF2, STAY THE HELL OUT OF THIS FORUM
Huhuh, what a worthy contribution.
I'd go with the Ant-Vehicle rifle as well. Although I'm working towards the Assault rifle-rockets, myself.

Yeah ermm you fail the clark is one of the best weapons in the titan.zeidmaan wrote:
Since you mostly play Titan mod I wouldnt recommend Clark Shotgun since, lets face it, it LAGS in the titan.
well... lets just agree that its up to the guys specs. If he LAGS alot in the titan like most people do, than believe me, Clark is crap.
Also he already has an amazing Titan defense/attack combo (Lambert+APM+RDX). And unlocking the engy tree will give him more diversity.

I'm posting again because I'm sure someone might like to see the decision I decided to make
I decided to go with the clark ladder. It WAS very frustrating, and damn near came down to an ini-mini-minee-moe. After realizing all the nifty things support comes with, (sentry, ammo stuff) and considering i'm more of a foot soldier/combat kinda dude, I decided to climb the clark.
Thanks to all that gave me some insight on the unlock packages, and special thanks to Stormeye. I considered much of what you had to add.
Cheers!

If you play a lot of Engineer, the extra clip is a godsend. Having 4 mags instead of 3 will save your ass, especially since you usually use half of a mag to kill someone..zeidmaan wrote:
I think the extra clip and extra granade is waste of an unlock.
get emp mine, repair tool upgrade, then get IPS, then ammo hub upgrade, then motion mines.
You play titan, and you haven't even started on the sentry gun/ips shield?

If you play Recon and Titan, then unlock the player abilities. Sidearm Clip is a life saver and the extra grenade is perfect.
i aint got the enforcer, the turcotte does the job 4 me just fine

Pilum is a ton of fun on any map. Armor will fear you. Especially if they're dumb enough to give a chance at a shot in the back. It's an instant kill, unlike the regular Engineer rocket launchers. Not sure why people are complaining about range, I haven't had any trouble. It just requires leading your target versus guiding the missile.

Clark is great for Titan by itself but add the new RDX attachment and you get an AWESOME pair for Titan attack.
What are you smoking? The Pilum does far more damage the the default rockets for the Engineer kit. The Pilum can bring tanks / walkers to critical state with 1 shot in the right spot. Rockets cannot do that.Talon wrote:

There's also a rumour that the Pilum is stronger. It isn't, it does the same damage as the regular launcher.

This is one of my favorite kit selections with the EngiBuzerk1 wrote:
Pilum, PDS-1, motion mines.... Go Engi BTW, the extra clip gets really handy for the Engi.
Get the clark shotgun and the increased ammo ability
Clark 15B + 3 grenades + PAC pistol + SentryGun + EMP/Infantry scanner, will get you where you want to go on the enemy titan :]

Uhm, your the one smoking... Rocket Launcher and Pilum anti vehicle rifle does the same amount of damage, and both will kill a tank in one shot if you hit the rear and in two shots when you hit the sides...DarkZealot89 wrote:

However the pilum does not set off the lock alarm in vehicles meaning if you can im the pilum tankers will be less likely to activate their shields (active defence countermeasures)...

And that had what to do with this thread....FALLOUTBOMB wrote:

Pilum > Default launcher.
but for those who cry 'OH NOES! TEH PILUM ISNT THE WIRE GUIDED!' (you can move the rocket around) then if you cant aim the pilum properly and time the shot, then you suck.
EMP mines are useless in all maps except Cerbere and Gibraltar where they will slow down FAVs enough for motionmines to lock on them... anywhere else its a waste of unlocks because no tankers are retarded enough to drive into them by accident.... THOSE THINGS ARE HUGESuperior Mind wrote:

True, but at long range (over 200m) the pilum is worth nothing compared to a guided launcher... and on infantry maps where there are few vehicles the rocketlauncer can rock the sox of snipers when waiting for the vehicles to respawn, because of the superb accuracy when guided....Doms wrote:
