AA unlock is bugged quite badly and there are certain tricks that transport pilots can perform so that the AA would not lock onto them in Titan mode (possible in Conquest mode as well, but easier on Titan level).Sarrk wrote:

Damn, I used my last 2 unlocks on the left recon branch (after APM) to get the zeller with my next unlock. Should probably have gotten the Ganz and Anti-Air-gun instead...
I thought that rifle could get a non-sniper like me into sniping.
Ganz is a piece of shit, and from what I hear, AA aint that great anyway, last time I used one, it wasnt lock on.
PARK/MORRETTI ftw. NO STABLIZER though. 4x zoom is a must have
zellers sights suck and low ammo count.
best gun so far ive unlocked has been the L-AR Voss with the PK-74 AR-Rocket.
total pwnage.

I'd like to know this as well.CackNBallz wrote:
I would like to pose a question for Zeller users. Can you get a one shot kill if you hit unarmoured body parts? I know the head is a given, but what about the arms and legs?
Anyone?
Hey if you want to volunteer to stand still on a server for me... I could do some "in depth" testing
I unlocked the Zeller and it seems to do better than the basic guns:
Less movement (the stabalizer doesnt last forever so less movement is a good thing)
the scope does have a red tint but to my eyes it makes my targets jump out at me (mabee a glitch with my eyes but its cool with me)
it does alot more damage which, if ur working with ur team you can easily damage a guy. What is cooler than body shooting a guy then ur team moves in wiping him out. the extra damage is also cool because many players are often previously hurt. i manage to get alot of 1 shot kills.
the scope also seems to zoom in more with the zellar.
pluss the zeller is silenced, you can't hear it at a distance, and even at close range i can never seem to use the zellar's report to find out where the sniper is.
and i love taking out the enemy claymores... which if ur a squad based sniper (like me) u are very valuealbe to ur team...
the zellar does have a 3 shot clip but so what. i usualy get three headshots, the zeller just seems more likely to hit someone in the head lol (kinda like the f2000 in bf2 which always managed to nail a headshot lol)
im lovin it

Although the Morelli and park are good, I favor the Zeller because of its anti-explosives fire, I keep the way clear for oncomming troops. Also the Zeller seems to be a bit more stable/less sway and a lower bullet-drop, although I can not confirm that with statistics.
There's not much left to unlock for me, as of now basically the Zeller, the Ganz, the Anti-air gun and the tier 2 and 3 squadleader unlocks, so sooner or later, I'll be unlocking it anyways. I'm not too fond of the support class for various reasons, so I didn't play much with the Ganz as field unlock yet and what I experienced so far didn't impress me either, but as said: sooner or later I'll have it unlocked anyways, most likely at the end of November now that I qualify for more and more expert badges.TheEternalPessimist wrote:

I wouldn't bother with the Ganz mate it's pretty awful (I think it is anyway as do most people. But some people love it), at least get it as a field upgrade and test it before wasting an unlock on it and finding you hate it.

VERY classy advice....dontfeedthenerd wrote:
I use the Zeller for a couple of reasons:
I often hop in and gun for my friend when he's in the walker or tank. I can hop out and blast those damn motion sensing mines for him.
One body hit with the Zeller leaves them with a bit less health which means when I whip out my pistol it takes less shots to kill them.
You ever RDX a walker or a tank only to get run over? Zeller lets you hunt down that mother fucker and detonate the RDX with a few well placed shots.
Titan defense becomes easier with the Zeller, lay down a couple of RDX, you now have the ability to detonate them one at a time. Often, if there's any semblance of teamwork going on, an attacking force will send in a couple of canaries before sending in the assult guys to lay down fire and revive. So my APM catches the first canary. My second APM catches the second canary, and then I proceed to snipe the RDX as the rest of the squad comes running through.
Is body armour still chest only, or all over?Sambuccashake wrote:

I think you may have actually found the one thing that the Zeller is actually good at, titan defense of all things! lol. I'll have a play doing that later, though thus far I haven't had much trouble getting in to lay more RDX but detonating it like that is certainly safer.dontfeedthenerd wrote:

One shot kill is head and head only, unless of course they're a moron and have removed their armor, in which case anywhere but arms and legs is a 1 shot kill.Talon wrote:

Just don't do it on a moving titan. moving titans have a tendency to glitch out and sometimes you get phantom misses on the rdx that end up killing you.TheEternalPessimist wrote:
