The other day I was playing some music pretty loud and then it just cut out, I turned off my amp and the volume down, and they worked again, but once i put the volume to a certain level they just cut out. If I turn my amp on and off then they'll work until i put the volume up.

Can anyone shed some light on my problems?

might have blown a capacitor in your amp? or some sort of circuitry.

doubtful it'll work itself out, sounds like a mechanical issue.

ah alright thanks. I'll take it down to radioshack or something. Or just buy a new one off ebay

Just open the case, do some welding and thats it.I would recommend u totake it to professional care.
