Tips on expert squadleader badge.

Well title sums it up!

Can anyone share any tips for getting the expert (aka gold, I get confused between veteran and expert).
Last time I played on landing and swore I was about a couple of pods off getting the sweet glory.

Your pod does not count does it?

Tips on what map, how many players etc.

You need to have all 30 spawns on the same Squad Leader Becon. So if the enemy destroys it, then you will need to start again.

My tip is to find a titan server which is not quite full, but enough people to be able to attack and defend the titan. Then once you are able to board the enemy titan, place you becon on the very top bit and hope that the enemy soldiers do not distroy it. Then hopefully you will have a squad of 4 + and just get them to spawn on the becon. They are going to die a lot on the titan so will be spawning many times. This is how I got mine.

Heres a hint for ALL Squad Leaders

Put the fucking beacon INSIDE THE TITAN, NOT ON THE LANDING DECK, AND ESPECIALLY NOT ON THE FUCKING SIDES.

That way I dont spawn down in the beacon, only to fall off the sides and fall onto the kill zone, which is the side doohickys, if you place it inside the titan, its also an instant spawn instead of a pod.

O_O um riiiiiight. Yesterday I was in a Squad and used the "Need orders Sir" Over and over I got blocked like 5 times and the idiot STILL didn't know what to do. I type what to do and how to do it. Still nothing happened.
I changed Squad, did the same thing nothing happened.
I changed to the last Squad but the same thing happened.

I even saw 5 people with the same clan tag and STILL didn't put out orders.

Also this is like on EVERY server I play on so in the start of the round if they change team I make sure to make the first Squad.

I even used the Mic and they still act like noobs.

Shouting won't help at all when they are idiots and none of them had a low rank either.

Also my suggestion is, find a Titan mode server with 48 players, get a full squad and put the beacon on the Titan in a safe place. Also make sure there are no other ways to spawn on the titan to. :3
If you wanna get normal Squad Leading points just take Camp Girbalta map and being a Squad leader with a full sqaud and put out orders on the flag everyone attacks.
You'll get at least 90 points with a full squad that sucks.

it's just that 90% of the stuff you post about BF2142 is bullshit..

you don't need 30 on ONE beacon. its 30 in a round, regardless of the beacons.

Just place it in your titan next to the titan guns consoles. Do this at the beggining of the round and tell your squad that if they want to spawn on the titan they should use your beacon. I mean most of the people spawn on the titan anyway so they can take the gunship, transport or use the mighty pods. If they want to spawn at a silo, than they can spawn at the silo.
