I know there has been a lot of bitching and moaning about the patch causeing server crashes but after I installed the patch BF2 and BF2: SF will not luanch, it just shows the splash screen for a few seconds and then dosen't do anything. Anyone else have this problem? Unless anyone else has a solution to this I guess im going to have to reinstall, damn you EA.

and they all say the same thing.........uninstall, re-install, re-download the patch. and for everyones sake, do not try to play the game while it is patching

hmm i havnt played 1.4 for ages, i've played 1.12 tho and its alot more fun
Im confused about 1.41 now, on EA's BF2 website there is a download for patch 1.4 but there arent any downloads for 1.41, xfire automaticly downloaded 1.41 for me but when I installed that the game dident work and I had to reinstall (wich I just did). So whats going on? Where can I download 1.41?
If you download a patch, do you work your way up to the newest, or just download the newest.
I still have the original out of box one, and dont know which to download, or where to download from.
