According to my stats my best round is 242 with USMC. although most of my other stats are pretty accurate. i never remembered getting such a high scoring round. is this another glitch in the stats page, as this has been showing for over 2 weeks now?

Considering that BF stats system does have "occasional" bugs it could be.
I mean 242 is ALOT. Maybe on a server with very litle people.... and IO maybe....

say you went commander on a server that doesnt kick for idling, and your team happened to win. Just a shot in the dark but it makes sense
clocked in at 405... as commander.. before that was 374 ground combat
