I know the 1.5 patch is annoying for titan mode fans, but I'm your saver... There's a version reset program released by EA available at this link:

Be sure to own the 1.01 patch, or ull have to download it again

When you are on the site, scroll down and click on : 2142 Version Reset.zip. Then unzip it and click it, ull be back to Version 1.0, and then patch with 1.01.

Buuut.....how would this allow us to play on the ranked servers? Most are 1.05 right now, not even sure 1.01 servers are ranked.

yea i'm playing bf2 till they actually fix titan, conquest mode in bf2142 is the same, so i'm just playing conquest in bf2. maybe i'll some day get up to 60k points

Weird. I'm watching my server in BF2142cc and it's had the same people in there for a while now (and it's on titan mode).

Half my time played is titan...

i meant have you played a round of titan with the new patch.... i got very few ctd's with 1.01 maybe 5 at the most but as soon as i ended a round of titan my game crashed

1st round I joined in the middle of my teams defeat sequence and immediately CTD. 2nd round I hit esc and didn't crash. That's all i've played so far.

wow... Seems like this new patch makes things WORSE for titan mode. Yes, mostly everyone is having CTDs after a titan round. I managed to go 2 rounds of titan without crashing... but after that, it was crash upon crash. My points and medals went through, but it's just annoying when i have to boot up the game again. The lag also seems to have gotten worse, at least on the server I was playing on. grrr!

Ahhhh... so reminiscent of BF2 patches.... we're gonna need a patch for this patch.
