and because its DDR = Doule Data Rate it runs on 533 mhz, and not because its in dual channel.

Most thing in your PC are below 266Mhz, You CPU probably runs at 200mhz with a 10+ multiplier.

Here's how I explain Dual channel:
Say you have a 4 lane highway, and you have 8 trucks full of bricks. The trucks can only travel at 30MPH. Obviously the 4 trucks in front can get to the destination before the 4 trucks behind it.
Now, Dual channel would put 8 lanes in that road, so all the trucks can arrive at the destination at the exact same time.
You can't even buy "Dual channel RAM", the Dual channel is done by the motherboard. All you do for the RAM is get a matched set, with identical timings and frequencies.
