Best Sniper Shot ever???

ive had a few. but by far the best shot i have ever had was recently on Shongua Stalemate (it was first time id even played that level) and i saw this guy in a boat real far away. my computer was laggin like crazy and this guy comes about 20 yards away perpendicular to me and i shoot just for kicks and i killed him. I dont know how, in fact i didnt even see my cross hair go near his head. All i know is that boat stopped and i was laughing really hard. every now and again i get a guy in midair or running across, but that was by far the best

any better stories? id like to hear them

i also killed a J-10 with an AT Mine.

I was in kakrand and on the hill near suburb over looking squad and i saw a humvee driving by the fountain below and as he made drove away i shot him out with the m-24 from behind him

cc90jt, you're a noobie as far the site goes, but when i first started reading here, i remember a topic about what the hell the SS meant. i believe that hitler's SS was confirmed to be not it.

My best shot happens all the time --- i stand in a street and watch an FAV come screaming at me, then i cap the driver with my trusty T88, then proceed to kill the passengers. They never learn (or survive )

btw, today at Jalalabad, i unintentionally killed an both the driver and the .50 gunner on aUSMC buggy with a PKM -- they ran (er, drove) into my line of fire (my shooting lane was perpendicular to their course) and nailed both of em. Pretty sweet (and lucky).

haha, my best shot was on Wake Island, and a PLA chopper was circling the USS Essex, I spawned, looked up and shot the gunner out of the Helicopter...

Whenever I play Commander on Mastuur Starting as USMC I'll drop 2 Claymores at the Gas Station and run to the Trees to the East (so I can't be Cartillery'd).

What happened was a MEC Transport Helicopter came over with 4 guys in it and 3 of them jumped out, one of the Claymores killed 2 of them leaving 1 person still alive on ground and the pilot still hovering in his chopper.

I crawl up to the edge of the hill and I can see the Pilots head, perfect angle from where I was, I capped his head through the side door Gun and the Chopper dropped where it was apon landing it set off the 2nd Claymore which Blew up the Red Barrel at the Flag which killed the other guy on the ground.

If this is not the best Flag Defend, I dare you tell a better story.

Karkand, Mec, Our team sucks, They rape 1st round, 2nd round Mec again, Teams are 21-49 or something. I spawn squad, C4 C4 C4 C4 C4 on flag, They take hotel in 12 seconds into round. UAV shows so many people at square. I let it off, 17 flag defends + 17 kills.

Nah dont_be_ss his record stands at 554 meters --> 554m - Dalian Plant

The world record is held by plastic-budgie at 629 meters also on Dalian Plant --> 629m - Dalian Plant

The dont_be_ss is some private joke I think. Never got it myself when I was on their forums.

One of the luckiest one's i have got was on Mashtuur City. I was on the bridge next to Hotel, looking parallel along the bridge towards hotel. I pressed "Q" for enemy spotted as there was a guyin running across my view. But as i went to click the left mouse button i let go of Q too early and fired.....Un-scoped! Then all of sudden i saw that guy drop to the floor and it said i had M24'd him.

2nd gd, but not so gd shot, was on Wake. I was at the top of beach, heading towards airfield. A enemy was driving a humvee past me up to airfield, he didnt see me and kept on drivin. I saw, through the scope on my L9 that i cud see his head through the back of the humvee. Fired slightly in front of the vehicle and the humvee came to a stop.

Those were my two most memorable sniper shots of BF2.

Hmmmm....got a few, most "skillfull" would be on Wake, from US island to north base, got him with a headshot when he was out of view distance, twas a badass shot! this was pre 1.2, so massive bullet drop compensate as well!

I guess a more lucky one was one wake too, at north AA, chinese transport was flying down middle of wake, took a shot at it, and nailed him! i couldnt believe it!

And this isnt so much shot, but "shots", got a headshot for every bullet in SVD, all running as well, on jalalalalawhatever.
