They're all my friends. But they are only good in stunts but not ninja skills since you can see what they look like.

I've tried and failed. Well i didn't fail miserably i did ok but the fear gets you when you're upside down going fast. I dunno hard to explain but i always lose my sense of awareness/orientation and stuff when doing a backflip and shit.

The stuff at the start is something called parkour, if you've watched the new bond film you'll see it during the chase sequence with the cranes.

Edit: that second video wasn't really parkour  that was more jumping od shit for laughs. (another edit) take some of that back, didn't bother to watch all of it.

It's also very popular in Newcastle of all places,

it's also
1) very difficult 2) very difficult 3) slightly dangerous 4) very difficult 5) fun as hell.... Not that I know how to do it very well

The "inventor" just sees it as a form of freestyle dance more than anything.

All the stunts at the end were cool, especially the guy who goes 3-4 steps up the wall and flips, that's some good stuff.

Did you ever see the BBC use that kind of thing before it's programmes?  isnt some french chap the worlds best or something?  Like jumping from building to building, Im sure I saw something once, perhaps on Top Gear where he races a car across London.  He's in the air and obviously the car isn't.

The BBC use alot of things but yea, a few of their break up the program bits have a little bit of this stuff in. Yep they did Jeremy Clarkson against a couple of these guys through the streets of newcastle, I think the two guys won...

The french guy was in the bond film I think not sure though.

Edited for my awful grammar...

David Belle did do an add for the BBC at one stage... Some of the guys at Urban Freeflow (british parkour/freerunners) were involved in the Top Gear tracuer vs. car thing.

A little division has sprung up in the community that does this sort of thing. Parkour is only parkour if it has a purpose behind it and it's efficient (ie. NO FLIPS).  Though many tracuers (practitioners of parkour) can do the flips. Was used by a division in the French fire brigade and probably still is.

Tricking is what's in that ninja training camp vid of Solvers. Alot of skill involved but it has no real practical application.

Oh, and just for everybody's info the Dvinsk Clan currently reside in Latvia, dunno where they are all from but they aren't all Russian (dunno if any of them are).

There is quite a bit more to elaborate on but I couldn't be bothered... Some links for anybody who is interested.

For more info on Parkour. Is by far the best site for info.
Urban Freeflow's site.
PAWA's site.

It is called
Parkour no parcour, or parqour
My friends do it, I find it pretty awesome, so I tried it myself.
And when I tried to to a reverse vault I kind of impaled myself to the railing and went head first into concrete. So I gave up.
The best I have seen is David Belle with his Parkour chase. That 16 foot jump is just insane.

its a technique that u learn in any form of martial arts

i also do this stuff, but its more on the ninja stuff, not the parkour
(backflips, flips off walls, front/back handsprings, some climbing, and flips off stuff)

search on google for "team ryouko fitness" for an awesome movie

Martial Arts is cool. I did that once ... with all that kicking, sword fighting and using your head. I also have learnd how to ignore the pain when someone punches me in face or when a "girl" pinches me.. I just ignore it.. How do I do it? I use mein brain.

Aye, parkour the word is a 'mutated' form of the word parcours...

EDIT

Oh, and you shouldn't have given up. Just keep practicing and the flow gets easier and easier. Meh, I'm pretty shit myself but I see no reason to give up every time I screw up. I just try to minimise the injuries (easier said than done).
