Recently, while playing single player to test it out, I found that you can actually kill someone with the defibs still! Seeing as I had never actually seen someone choose to defib an enemy online, I could only assume that they simply did not kill anymore.

Well, you can kill people with them. But really it's not too rewarding...

No dogtags, but you do get that whole AED Defibrillator up on the kill list for all to see. I'd kind of like to see EA/Dice implement aquiring of dogtags using the defib. (Maybe instead of the glowy orange knife symbol on the tags, it could be a glowy red heart like on the medic excellence badge. XD)

'Course, it'd also be nice if they count towards your revives... Getting an emergency rescue badge wouldn't be too bad I guess.

I too thought they couldn't kill anymore, either. Eventually saw a few people die to them.

They arn't... really revives... so I don't see why they would count. But dog tags would be really nice.

I also want to kill people with that threatening looking engineer repair torch.

i accidentally killed someone with the defib once when i was trying to rez a team mate and a sniper crawled around the corner,  but it hasn't showed up on my stats......

The sheer pleasure of zapping someone with the defib is enough to get me excited. I don't need extra points or dogtags. It's amazing just as it is.

Killing with the Defibrillator has already an incentive, you totally humiliate your opponent. There's nothing worse than getting killed by the Defibrillator - only the Knife comes close.
