Hey everyone, I am having an issue with my VOIP.  I had a XFI but it died so im using my on-board sound....but i had my XFI even before bf2.  Long story short, my VOIP i will have it "on" and then it will shut itself off....does anyone know why this is or what i can do to fix it?  I am in the market for a new sound card cuz im wondering if that has something to do with it, but the problem is i have no money so...i dunno...

...can anyone help me please?

if you have a Webcam w/ mic, and a separate microphone plugged in, they may be conflicting with each other. pull one out.

otherwise, NFC.

Alright go to START>RUN now type in DXDIAG press Enter, go to the SOUND TAB, look down see the DirectX Features...move the slider to Basic Acceleration, its your onboard so it cant do to much fancy things, start up BF2 re-set your VOIP settings, join game and there you go it should be working now had this problem before, I only have onboard sound =/

I know but sound quality falls 1 1/2 fold but I dont think that matters when VOIP is needed most, like pilot/gunner, commander...not so much for squad leader/member where communication is weakest
