Hello,

I downloaded the demo from a site (games.telenet.be) and tried to install it. First, i unzipped it and started to install. After 3%, it asks for a CD (but i downloaded it)...

So, 2nd try, I bought a PC Gameplay which had a CD with the demo on it. So I installed it, the installing in complete, but then i can't run it. It gives the first loader screen and then it stops....

I do get the pop-up window when installing: '' this game has only been testing on xp32'' (and I'm on xp64).

Anyone else got this problem that can help me?

If you're playing on a 64 bit Windows system......there's your answer.

The strange thing is that BF2 and SF works perfectly, and 2142 doesn't. I really can't believe EA did addapt BF2 for 64 bit and didn't addapt 2142 for 64 bit....

+ is this only for the demo? Will the full game work on 64?

Yes, it is indeed strange.  But then again...this is DICE that we are dealing with here.

IMHO, I wouldn't waste your money on 2142.  I'm less than impressed with it...and it's got all the same problems as BF2 but with a few more to add to the list.
