Is there a way to run a 1 Gig stick of pc2700 with a 512 Mb stick of 3200 efficiently, is there any software or a way to alter the setup of my computer?
Your PC3200 is clocked at 400mhz, your PC2700 clocked at 333mhz.
The computer will run fine, but it will run the PC3200 RAM at 333mhz.

It will run at the lowest clock speed of your sticks. The computer will run fine, but it will run the PC3200 RAM at 333mhz.

I'm forgetting things so, forgive me!
The problem is when i run the both it is slower than the slower stick, the lag is unbelievable and fps for bf2 drop below the floor.
Do you know that for a fact? It may not be your ram which is the problem, what gpu do you have?mikeyb118 wrote:

I did passmark tests. and a geforce 6600
probably a dead stick of ram
or as i did in the past, have conflicts between the 2 sets of ram and cause graphical failures and poor gaming quality!
