theres this new game called Gears of War (im assuming most of you have heard of it)
ive been asking around and everyone says i should get it , but personally, i dont think the game looks that good
what do you guys think?

Well since it's the best game available for the 360 (IMO and pretty much every journalists reviewing it) right now, I would say get it. I played it for about 6 hours last night with a friend on co-op campaign mode and loved every second of it. I'm considering getting the 360 just for this game. If it was confirmed (not rumored) that it was coming to PC, I would wait it out for PC.

Also, if anyone "doesn't think the game looks that good,": Either you havn't actually seen it in person on a decent TV/HDTV, trying to judge it on screenshots or low-res videos off the net, or you are just seriously mentally retarded. This game is gorgeous with extremely good texturing, lighting, and the perfect atmosphere for a good war setting.

All in all, IMHO this is the only game that makes the 360 worth buying and will definitely be a system seller this Christmas.

Excellent, amazing, jaw dropper...

All synonyms of the feeling I had yesterday night at my brother's place. I was stunned by everything, I couldn't move away from the 45'' HDTV. Small dust clouds passing a few feet away from you, the city that spans around, the lighting is just right and the textures are awesome! The moves you can do are great too; You hide behind fallen concrete pillars like the real guys seems to do, running is crazy and the medic whores of BF2 series will be pleased to know that you can revive your friends!! (At least it seemed to be. You have to do it in the tutorial.) My little bro was just rushing everything in that game, kill or be left behind!

Posssibly coming to PC. If it is, I'm getting it man, it's a game to owe. A must!

My buddy an I play it every Sunday, I think where on act 3 and it's getting really good. He doesn't play video games that much but he's addicted to this one he's like Nick, next Sunday we have to get drunk and play that game lols. What pisses me off about it is the creepy noises right before something pops out at you but it's cool and shitty at the same time. I give this game a 10/10

Anyone else have to update there 360 for this game I did. It only took like a min. lessa than that.

i played it, kicked my friends ass at it on multiplayer, didn't think it was that great (third person shooter).

I just beat the game. My buddy and I played it every Sunday and I'd say everything about it was awesome. Now were going to play on insane mode so it will take alot longer to beat I guess. When it ended I was sad well I can't say why but I was sad and mad. I enjoyed playing the game alot and I highly recommend it.
