Sound Card Question...

Hey guys, im in the market for a new sound card.....should i go for an X-FI Fatal1ty FPS or is there something else i should go for? Please help me, i searched already and nothing came up concerning peoples opinions on which cards to look at or get.....so PLEASE help.

yea? does the front panel thing do anything extra...i think its cool lookin and would be cool to have but if i dont have to spend the extra money....you know?

what about the Platinum one? should i go for that? I am hearin alot of bad things about the Fatal1ty, and that scares me....especially if im spending all that money on it. Plus im not like gonna be playin a guitar on it or anything crazy...i have a 2 speaker set up, and just want better sound quality cuz im always listening to music and just want to take some stress off my processor you know?

fatal1ty yea its ok could be better but its got the onboard xram so yea

platinum i think is better as u get xram and some other stuff

but having one XtremeMusic yea id go 4 that

ive had mine for bout 5 months

what do you mean about the xram stuff....is that not good? I thought it would be a good thing that the card had its own ram and what not?
